Title 5 of the California Rules of Court — the Family and Juvenile Rules — governs divorce, custody, support and domestic violence cases in the family court, and dependency, delinquency and related proceedings in the juvenile court. Its three divisions cover family law, juvenile law, and the rules that apply in both. The Judicial Council adopts them under its own constitutional rulemaking authority.
