Alaska numbers its rules 1 through 100, with decimal rules added over time as procedures were split out — for example 5.1–5.4, 16.1–16.2, 23.1–23.2, 26.1, 30.1, 43.1, 44.1, 45.1, 58.1–58.2, 65.1, 72.1, and 90.1–90.8. There is no Rule 96; the numbering skips from 95 to 97. Four rules — 16.1, 43, 44, and 44.1 — were rescinded by Supreme Court Order in 1979 and 1997 and carry no rule text; they are shown here for completeness. Rule 68 carries two complete, separately dated versions, one for cases filed before August 7, 1997, and one for cases filed on or after that date, both reproduced in full on its page.
