Michigan's Civil Procedure rules are Chapter 2 of the single, continuously numbered Michigan Court Rules, so every rule number carries its chapter prefix (2.001 through 2.630) and the numbering leaves gaps for rules added later. One rule, MCR 2.224 (Change of Venue in Tort Actions), has been repealed and carries no operative text; it is shown below for completeness.
