Official rule and statute text reproduced on this site is, in general, a public-domain government work and is not owned by us. The selection, arrangement, and presentation of that material, together with our original one-sentence summaries, plain-English explanations, FAQs, aliases, and all other commentary, and the site's own design, layout, and underlying code, are the property of RulesofCivilProcedure.com and its operator and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Permitted use
