Three rules that govern every deadline in the set.
Rule 68.1 is the counting method — skip the first day, count the last, jump weekends and holidays, and drop intermediate weekends and holidays from short periods. Rule 68.2 lets the court enlarge or shorten a period, with a list of seven rules it may not touch. Rule 68.3 adds three days when service was by mail.
These are the rules that turn "within fifteen days" into an actual date, and getting them wrong is how jurisdictional terms are missed.

La Regla 68.1 es el método de cómputo: no se cuenta el primer día, sí el último, se saltan fines de semana y feriados, y en los términos cortos se excluyen los intermedios. La 68.2 permite al tribunal prorrogar o acortar un término, con una lista de siete reglas que no puede tocar. La 68.3 añade tres días cuando la notificación fue por correo.
