Rule 57.1 governs the temporary restraining order, including the narrow case where one issues without notice and the ten-day life it then has. Rule 57.2 covers the preliminary injunction, which always requires notice, and lets the court consolidate the hearing with the trial. Rule 57.3 lists six factors. Rule 57.4 requires security, with a government exemption. Rule 57.5 says what every injunction order must contain and whom it binds. Rule 57.6 preserves the labor statutes. Rule 57.7 handles injunctions while a case is on appeal.
Rule 53 sends every preliminary injunction here, and sends a cease and desist order sought merely to secure a judgment to Rule 56 instead.
