When an order is made in favor of a person who is not a party to the action, that person may enforce obedience to the order by the same process as if a party. When obedience to an order may be lawfully enforced against a person who is not a party, that person is liable to the same process for enforcing obedience to the order as if a party.
Cuando se dicte una orden a favor de una persona que no sea parte en el pleito, ésta podrá exigir su cumplimiento mediante el mismo procedimiento, como si fuera una de las partes. Cuando una persona que no sea parte en el pleito pueda ser obligada al cumplimiento de una orden, dicha persona estará sujeta al mismo procedimiento para obligarla a cumplir la orden, como si fuera una parte.

Two symmetrical sentences that keep the enforcement machinery from turning on formal party status.
In favor. When an order is made in favor of a person who is not a party to the action, that person may enforce obedience to the order by the same process as if a party.
Against. When obedience to an order may lawfully be enforced against a non-party, that person is liable to the same process for enforcing obedience as if a party.
The second sentence carries its own limit: it applies where obedience may be lawfully enforced against the non-party. The rule supplies the method, not the authority — something else must make the non-party bound in the first place.
Dos oraciones simétricas que impiden que la maquinaria de ejecución dependa de la condición formal de parte.
A favor. Cuando se dicta una orden a favor de quien no es parte en el pleito, esa persona puede exigir su cumplimiento por el mismo procedimiento que si lo fuera.
En contra. Cuando el cumplimiento de una orden puede exigirse legalmente contra quien no es parte, esa persona queda sujeta al mismo procedimiento para exigirlo que si lo fuera.
La segunda oración lleva su propio límite: aplica donde el cumplimiento pueda exigirse legalmente contra quien no es parte. La regla aporta el método, no la autoridad; algo distinto tiene que haber vinculado antes a esa persona.
