On appeal the cut-off is seven days, so a ten-day appellate period counts every day. Every result shows its work.

This tool applies Tennessee’s legal holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. A holiday on a Saturday is observed the Friday before, one on a Sunday the Monday after. Columbus Day counts as a holiday for computing time even though offices open that day (Rule 6.01 comment). The Friday after Thanksgiving and the Governor’s other closure days are not legal holidays, and election days may or may not be; none of these moves a date here, and the result warns you instead. A day your clerk’s office is closed or inaccessible also extends a filing deadline; add any such day here as YYYY-MM-DD.
