Plain-English Summary

Like the ejectment counterpart, this rule conforms replevin enforcement to the general execution machinery for specified subjects rather than restating it.

The borrowed topics are the commencement and issuance of the writ, its substitution, reissuance, and expiration, security for the sheriff, discovery in aid of execution, supplementary relief in aid of execution where applicable, and the sheriff’s expenses and fees with abandonment for non-payment.
