§ 25-2801.Designation.

This section is the entry point for Article 28. It does not create a separate courthouse or a separate judge; it designates a department within each county court — the Small Claims Department — and gives that department the name Small Claims Court. Everything that follows in this article builds out how that court works: what it can hear, who can appear in it, how a case starts, and how it ends.
