This tool applies Missouri’s thirteen public holidays under RSMo 9.010: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Lincoln Day (February 12), Washington’s Birthday, Truman Day (May 8), Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. A holiday on a Sunday is observed the Monday after. The statute moves nothing for a Saturday holiday: the courts close the Friday before, but that Friday is not a legal holiday, so it does not move a date here; the result warns you instead. The same goes for Christmas Eve, the day after Christmas and the day after Thanksgiving, which the Chief Justice closes in some years. Add any other legal holiday here as YYYY-MM-DD.
