Plain-English Summary

Section 624 closes out the 1941 referee-and-report scheme by tying its appeals to the ordinary rules. Whatever manner and time the code of civil procedure sets for appealing a final judgment of the district or superior court, that same manner and time governs an appeal arising out of this reference procedure.

Rather than build a separate appellate track for referee proceedings, the Legislature routed appeals back into the standard process. Superior courts no longer exist; Oklahoma folded them into the district courts through its 1967-1969 judicial reform, so this appeal path now runs entirely through the district courts.
