Plain-English Summary

Rule 94 is a checkpoint rule. Once discovery closes in a case on the Economical Litigation Docket, each party has to file a certificate stating it has complied with Rule 93 — the ELD provisions governing depositions, interrogatories, and document production. It creates a record in the file confirming discovery obligations under the ELD's compressed rules were met before the case moves toward pretrial conference and trial.
