Plain-English Summary
Once a hearing date is set, the clerk sends every party or their representative written notice of when and where to appear. That notice must include the street address of the courthouse, a phone number for questions, and enough detail about the room or location to help a party find the right place. The rule exists so that people navigating small claims court — often without a lawyer — can locate their hearing without guesswork.
